We offer breast augmentation, tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), Brazilian butt lift (BBL), skin rejuvenation and contraction. SOWH always strives to provide the most comfortable and welcoming environment possible to ensure that women's health is treated with dignity and respect.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure to enlarge your breasts to create fuller, rounder breasts. It’s a good cosmetic surgery if you want to change the size or shape of your breasts. During breast augmentation, an implant is placed inside the breast. It can be made from silicone gel or saline solution. Some women may have their nipples repositioned during this surgery, so they look more natural and symmetrical.

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the abdomen. It can also tighten the muscles. The procedure results in a flatter, more toned abdomen.

Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)

The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a procedure that can help you get the curvy, voluptuous backside that you've always wanted. It is a procedure that uses fat from other parts of your body to plump up the buttocks and make them more youthful. Also referred to as butt augmentation or gluteoplasty, this cosmetic procedure reshapes the buttocks to give them a perkier appearance.

SKIN REJUVENATION AND CONTRACTION

PRP Facial Rejuvenation

The PRP Facial Rejuvenation procedure is a non-invasive, natural treatment for the face. It uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to promote collagen production and rejuvenate skin cells. PRP is a concentrated blood serum that contains platelets, which are responsible for clotting blood and healing wounds. The treatment uses this platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to rejuvenate your skin. When injected into the skin, PRP stimulates collagen production and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

PRP Hair Restoration

PRP hair restoration is a revolutionary new treatment for hair loss. This procedure uses platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, to stimulate the growth of new hair. PRP is a type of restorative therapy that uses your own blood to help you grow new hair. It stimulates the growth of new hair follicles and re-activates dormant ones. PRP also greatly improves the appearance of existing hair. The procedure has been proven to be effective in treating male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness, as well as alopecia areata (patchy hair loss).

PREGNANCY-RELATED PROCEDURES

Southern Oklahoma Women's Health is a full-service women's health center. The SOWH practice in Ardmore is the best facility in Oklahoma for pregnancy-related procedures. SOWH also specializes in female sterilization, tubal ligation, and vaginal rejuvenation. Our goal is simple: we want to help you achieve your family goals by offering the highest quality care in a friendly environment. With our years of experience and our commitment to keeping up with the latest research and technology, we can help you with the right procedure for your needs.

Vaginal Rejuvenation

Vaginal rejuvenation refers to a wide range of vaginal corrective treatments. Vaginal rejuvenation procedures can be performed for cosmetic reasons or to address age-related issues. They can help restore the appearance and function of your vagina. Vaginal rejuvenation can be performed in a number of ways and is generally done to address vaginal laxity, dryness and atrophy, loss of elasticity, loss of sensation, and pain during intercourse.

Tubal Ligation

Tubal ligation is a surgical procedure performed to seal off a woman's fallopian tubes, which carry eggs from the ovaries to the uterus. Tubal ligation can be permanent or temporary. After the surgery, no more eggs can pass through your uterus into your fallopian tubes, so sperm can't meet them there to fertilize them. Tubal ligation is also known as "getting your tubes tied."

Female Sterilization

Female sterilization is a surgical procedure that blocks or cuts the fallopian tubes to prevent eggs from reaching the uterus. It's often used as a form of birth control. The procedure is permanent, which means it will not reverse the process. Female sterilization is most often performed by laparoscopic surgery, which means it's done using small incisions in the abdomen.

VAGINAL DISORDER TREATMENTS

Southern Oklahoma Women's Health is a women's healthcare clinic that specializes in the treatment of vaginal disorders. The vagina supports sexual pleasure and is also an important part of childbirth. SOWH treats a variety of conditions, including endometriosis, endometrial ablation, and incontinence treatments. We are dedicated to helping you live your best life and feel confident in your body. At SOWH, we understand that when it comes to women's health, there are many things that can go wrong. We're proud to have Dr. Ramirez as our expert gynecologist/OBGYN who has many years of experience in treating vaginal disorders with the most effective and up-to-date treatments, helping women get their lives back on track.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a condition in which tissue that normally grows inside the uterus grows elsewhere in the body and causes inflammation and pain. The symptoms of endometriosis can vary widely from woman to woman and may include painful periods - especially during ovulation or menstruation, chronic pelvic pain, and infertility.

Endometrial Ablation

Endometrial ablation is a procedure that removes the lining of the uterus. This procedure can be used to treat heavy menstrual periods, endometriosis, and fibroids. The procedure can be done using several different methods, including burning, freezing, or scraping away the tissue. Endometrial ablation may prevent women from becoming pregnant as the procedure removes the endometrial lining which is where the fertilized egg implants after fertilization. Endometrial ablation though is not a form of birth control. Your reproductive organs remain intact.

Incontinence Treatment

Incontinence is a common problem for many people, and it can be embarrassing and isolating. It can be caused by several things, including old age, pregnancy, and childbirth. But SOWH is here to let you know that you're not alone and that there are plenty of ways to treat it. Our experts at SOWH are trained to treat your incontinence symptoms and give you back the confidence to live your life.

SOWH SERVICES

Gynecology / Gynecology Exams

Women who have not had cervical cancer or precancerous cells typically undergo a Pap smear or Pap test every three years. A Pap smear is an important part of a woman's overall health exam because it detects cervical cancer. Women between the ages of 21 and 65 should have a Pap smear as part of their routine health care. Even if you are not currently sexually active, a Pap smear should be performed. Pap tests are not required for women who do not have a cervix, usually due to a hysterectomy.

Body Wellness Care

Weight loss is frequently one of the most difficult tasks that we face as humans. Maintaining a healthy weight can be difficult, especially when hormones, thyroid, or other serious health issues are involved. Weight management based on medical scientific evidence is known as medical weight loss. SOWH’s specialists provide the expert treatment and guidance required to help you lose weight and keep it off for good.

Hormone Replacement Therapies

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a tried-and-true method of enhancing a woman's well-being as she ages. Proper HRT promotes cardiovascular and bone health in women. It may reduce the risk of diabetes, dementia, and even breast cancer. The list of its protective properties is endless. Furthermore, HRT may alleviate the symptoms of perimenopause and post menopause.

Aesthetics

Aesthetic procedures for women are becoming more and more popular. As women learn about the benefits of aesthetic procedures, they are looking to enhance their appearance through non-surgical options. From the outside, it's easy to see why aesthetic procedures are so appealing. But what most people don't realize is that these procedures are also about helping women feel better about themselves on the inside: they help women feel more confident and they give them a boost of self-esteem. With the help of Dr. Ramirez, we can discuss the best way to achieve your desired look.
